Our Staff
Our Senior Administration team, which has over 150 years of combined experience, is dedicated to their profession. They have all chosen the pension industry for a career.

Our Junior Administration team heads-up our loans & distributions, customer service and plan level support services to all senior administrators. Each team member has attended industry seminars and accreditation programs. They are encouraged to study for the APA designation through the National Institute of Pension Administration (NIPA).
Meet our Executive Team:
Robert H. Gorelick, APA
President / CEO

Robert H. Gorelick, APA, is President of Benefit Equity Inc. a national employee benefits consulting and administration company with twenty staff professionals. Bob has been providing consulting and administrative services for employee benefit plans since 1974 and established Benefit Equity Inc. in 1989.

Bob is the past President and Chairman of the Board of the National Institute of Pension Administrators, an Educational Foundation providing continuing education to pension professionals. The Institute confers the prestigious Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) designation. He also holds membership with the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and the National Center for Employee stock Ownership (NCEO).

Bob often speaks at continuing education seminars, for Certified Public Accountants, Insurance and Financial Planning Professionals and to employee groups. By discussing practical applications he is able to provide insight into the complex area of retirement consulting and administration.


Michael I. Gorelick, APR
Vice President – Pension Consultant

Michael has been a part of the BEI team since 1995. He had spent the prior 8 years as a partner in a nationally known executive recruiting firm. As an executive recruiter his commitment to service earned him high esteem while working with human resource management of Fortune 500 companies.

He is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Advertising. He also holds The National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) designation of Accredited Pension Representative (APR).

Michael develops and maintains strategic business partnerships with Investment Professionals, Insurance Agents, Certified Public Accountants, and nationally known 401(k) providers. His focus is in customized Plan Design of Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans, point-of-sale presentations and group employee education. Michael continues to support the local financial community by frequently presenting at workshops and seminars the topics of custom retirement plan solutions.


Kory Ngo, FLMI
Vice President- Senior Administrator/Pension Consultant

Kory Ngo has over 25 years of experience in the design, implementation, administration and consulting aspects of all types and sizes of qualified plans from Defined Contribution plans (i.e. 401(k) plans) to Defined Benefit/Cash Balance plans. He also specializes in Employee Stock Ownership Plans.

Kory is an original team member of Benefit Equity, Inc. starting in 1990. He began his career working for The Principal Financial Group, Safeco and another consulting firm in Century City that specialized in providing retirement services to the entertainment industry.

Kory received a Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and minors in Political Sciences and French. He earned the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) subsequently upon graduation. He is a member of the American Society of Professional Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Kory is a frequent presenter at various pension seminars and workshops for financial advisors, accountants and professional groups.
