Behind the Scenes with BEI’s Dedicated Team: Meet Joel Tippetts
Joel Tippetts, FCA, EA, CPC, MSEA, is our Manager of Administration & Actuary.
Joel is a highly experienced pension actuary with over a decade of experience in the TPA industry. He brings deep expertise in the design, administration, and compliance of all types of qualified retirement plans—including 401(k), profit sharing, defined benefit, and cash balance plans.
Before joining BEI, Joel was a Consulting Actuary at Pension Planning Consultants and held key actuarial roles at United Retirement Plan Consultants and Pension Strategies, LLC. From initial plan setup to final review and proactive client consulting, Joel has done it all—and done it well.
A proud graduate of Northern Arizona University with a B.S. in Mathematics (Actuarial Science emphasis), Joel now applies his technical skills and strategic thinking to help employers navigate the complexities of retirement planning with confidence.
